Description

The Polarion Role-oriented training for project management offered by ONE-SYS ACADEMY is designed as an in-depth study of the Polarion suite, specifically for project management. Focusing on the possibilities offered by the suite with regard to the creation and management of plans and the project in general, the course consists of a 1.5 days practical training, with a final review part of the concepts learnt by means of a short individual audit. This course is complemented by other role-based training.

Course Content

During the course, participants will cover the following topics:

1. Brief introduction to the Polarion ALM suite.

2. Creation of work items (tasks) and their traceability.

3. Creation of links between tasks and with other work items.

4. Creation of plans and their subdivision

5. Importing and exporting documents (Gantt).

6. Creation of boards and reports

7. Project resource management

8. Practical tips for the effective use of Polarion and joint troubleshooting.

Audience

The Polarion role-oriented training for project management course is intended for professionals and teams (systems engineers, project managers, etc.) who wish to acquire fundamental skills in managing systems development projects using the Siemens Polarion ALM suite. It is suitable for beginners who wish to obtain an in-depth overview of the potential of the tool applied to their work.

Prerequisites
