The ONE-SYS INCOSE MBCA assessment is based on the INCOSE MBCM product (Model-Based Capability Matrix), created under the auspices of INCOSE. It is a tool designed to evaluate and improve an organization's proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering. The model includes 42 capabilities, grouped into 8 categories or 5 goals (further refined by ONE-SYS for better clarity and application), including workforce culture, modeling tools, IT infrastructure, and more.
Each capability is evaluated on a five-level maturity scale, ranging from ad hoc practices to enterprise-wide integration. Essentially, the MBCM helps identify strengths and improvement areas, and develop targeted strategies to advance MBSE adoption within existing processes.
