Description

The Polarion Role-oriented training for validation&verification offered by ONE-SYS ACADEMY is designed as an in-depth study of the Polarion suite, specifically for the management of the verification and validation phases. Focusing on the possibilities offered by the suite with regard to the creation and management of tests, the course consists of a 1,5 days practical training, with a final review part of the concepts learnt through a short individual verification. This course is complemented by other role-based training.

Course Content

During the course, participants will cover the following topics:

1. Brief introduction to the Polarion ALM suite.

2. Creation of work items (tests) and their traceability.

3. Creation of links between tests and with other work items

4. Creation of documents (test specifications) and their modification.

5. Import and export of documents and work items.

6. Test creation and planning.

7. Execution of tests and management of results.

8. Defect management.

9. Practical tips for effective use of Polarion and joint troubleshooting.

Audience

The Polarion role-oriented training for validation&verification is intended for professionals and teams (systems engineers, test managers, etc.) who wish to acquire the fundamental skills in managing verification and validation in systems development using the Siemens Polarion ALM suite. It is suitable for beginners who wish to obtain an in-depth overview of the potential of the tool applied to their work.

Prerequisites
